COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

If a competitor is unable to compete due to contraction of / exposure to COVID-19 he / she should inform the organisers of this in writing, together with, the positive COVID-19 results before / on 10 November 2021 and a refund will be given less R 200 (handling fee) after the event has been successfully staged.

The 2021 Motul Roof of Africa regulations (not to be confused with the COVID Cancellation Policy) state that if a refund is requested before 10 November 2021, a refund will be given less R200 (handling fee). After 10 November 2021 a 50% refund will be given. After 17 November 2021 NO refunds will be given.

Due to the short notice of Lesotho’s updated COVID-19 vaccination status we will extend the full refund (less the R200 handling fee) option until midnight on November 12 2021. This translates as, we need to receive your refund request in writing (info@roofofarica.co.ls) by tomorrow night at midnight if a full refund is to be processed.

From Saturday, 13 November 2021, a 50% refund will be given.

After 17 November, no refunds will be processed for the 2021 Motul Roof of Africa.

The refund policy is in place to protect the event and its successful staging.

If a competitor is unable to compete due to contraction of / exposure to COVID-19, the competitor has no right to claim against the Organiser in respect of any loss or damage he / she may incur. If the dates are in line with the refund policy, the competitor will receive a portion of the fee after deductions have been made, after the event has been successfully staged.

If the Organisers cancel the event due to COVID-19 circumstances, all competitors will be eligible to receive a refund on their entry. In the event of any of the above, other than the entry fee (less R 200: administration and bank fees), the competitor has no right to claim against the Organiser in respect of any loss or damage he / she may incur.
