Volume 2 of 2021

Volume 2 of 2021

In 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic unexpectedly hit the entire world. It also forced changes to sporting activities and events alike. Lesotho too, was unfortunately not spared from the pain and suffering. Last year the motorsport fraternity missed one of the world’s greatest and number one long standing extreme enduro races and while so many top riders had trained hard to achieve a podium position, all was in vain.
However, the 2021 Motul Roof of Africa stage is set and LORA promises to try and compensate for all those tears shed by presenting the 53rd Roof of Africa. Together with the expert and able hands of Live Lesotho, motorsport fans and friends can expect Lesotho’s Mother of bike races to take place amidst the pandemic – all permits and approvals have already been given for the race.

Lesotho will truly be a sporting platform this year with the Roof of Africa in November and the AUSC Region 5 Youth Games in December.

The Mountain Kingdom awaits.

Together, keeping social distancing in mind of course, we will defeat the disease.
